Family Vacation!

Gabe was so excited to get on an airplane! This was Grady's first plane right and the first time for Gabe that he can remeber anyway. We flew into San Diego and stayed to nights there with friends. Then we went to Lancaster and got to see friends and family of Brandon's. We woke up Sunday morning and went to Magic Mountain. After a long day there we headed to the beach in Ventura. We spent two day lounging around the hotel and going to the beach..... it was cold compared to the Caymans but the boys loved it. Grady loved the feel of the sand in his hands and tried to eat whatever he could grab onto. Gabe built a sand castle and played in the waves.

Grand Cayman

We had a blast in the Grand Caymans. Our trip was centered around scuba diving. The weather was perfect. Our condo was right on a private beach. We went scuba diving 2 times a day and once even did a 3rd dive at night. We saw sting rays bigger than Brandon, sea turtles, parrot fish as big as me, swam through jelly fish, lobster, moray eels (one was 8 ft long), barracuda, and so much more. One dive sight had a giant mermaid 50 feet below the water.... Brandon go stung by fire coral on her hair. When we were looking at her we began to here a loud buzzing noise and a giant submarine drove up to us. It was so funny to see people looking through the tiny round windows at us like we were fish to look at. There was also a small ship sunk under water at about 60 feet. The steering wheel in the car we rented was on the right/wrong side of the car The only downfall to our trip was that our dollar was only worth 80 cents there :( Can't wait to go back.
